i guess so. but with plastic surgery nobody would recognize him and he could live a quiet life.

Unless the forthcoming revelations involve dudes or underage girls, he hasn't done anything that a man can't live down with time. I don't think the marriage is salvagable, but that doesn't mean he needs to leave his whole life behind. Assuming nothing too shocking is coming out, he follow specs' original advice make some "I love my wife and my children, but realize that I am not currently mature and selfless enough to be a good husband. I still have some wild oats to sow". Get divorced, make sure Elin gets a fair share, fade off for about a year, and come back winning.

If he does this he may not even need to fade off for a year.

Golf is not what caused his problems. Might be better to become engulfed in golf, play every weekend, and minimize the amount of time he has for well extra curricular activities.

Fixed it for you.

Bill Clinton didn't take time off when he admitted his transgressions, why should Tiger? If he wants to hit every thing in town, a divorce would be a good way to go. I don't think he needs to share his reasons with anyone in the mean time. He needs to keep his mouth shut IMO. The chicks talking about him are skanky whores looking for their 15 minutes. If he doesn't confirm what they're saying, everyone will assume they're at least half lying anyway.

Nike has so much money tied up in the Tiger equipment and apparrel, they are not going to drop him. Period. I agree with Tiger's decision not to speak out publicly. If he wants to leave his wife, he should do it. If he wants to sleep around, he certainly will not be the first athlete to do so and there's no way he'll be the one with the most instances either.

What I do not agree with is Tiger's decision to take time off golf (unless he's been disfigured by a beating from the wife). Golf is the one thing in his life that's not screwed up right now. I'd keep doing that. Plus, sitting around the house with the woman who knows you've been screwing a bunch of whores does not sound like fun. Golf would get him out of the house at least.

I don't feel sorry for Tiger, and I'm not disappointed in him. this will blow over before the PGA folds for lack of interest.
