Although I would love to see this, I don't believe it would work. First, I believe you would have to drop 5A so the playoffs in every class "aren't watered dow" Second, I don't believe the bigger schools would participate in the open class, since they wanted Evangel, JC, and like teams to go back to their class.

Why can't schools play according to their enrollment makes sense. Also sperate Public and parochial schools so even playing field. Small schools play other small schools.
