I have mixed feelings. I've gotten worse seats for more money because of buying them through LSU (because they were going for less than face on eBay). However, it's always nice for LSU to say that we sell "our" tickets out.

...Good point. Buying tickets from LSU is very important.
If it fails to sell out it's alotment, this will adversely effect LSU's chances to get future invites to better bowls especially in Florida.
LSU developed a poor reputation of attending bowls other than the Sugar Bowl in the 1980's. If we arent' careful, LSU could drop like a rock in the selection process.
