Its not a game, its fact. JJ has been fortunate in that regard.

Is the "almost pick" a new stat?
did they keep this stat last year?

Lets just call them bad passes to the other fella.
Your insecurity on the issues of JJ border on instability. I am not pro or con, just stating the facts.

If you really want to compare JJ's stats to other QB's, try looking at what other QB's that are freshmen or sophomores did at other programs this year. Comparing him to JR at the same point in his LSU career does not portend to anything.
Of the top 100 there are 15 freshmen and sophomores who were better than JJ this year in the NCAA and 13 worse. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out that JJ is mediocre, at best.
Well, if you look at the QB ratings, only 9 freshman and sophomores are ranked ahead of him, and about 23 behind him in the top 100. I don't know how many of those sophs are true sophs like Jefferson, but only one, Mallet, also plays in the SEC and has faced the no. 1 and 2 ranked scoring defenses in the country this year, like Jefferson has.

JJ looked pretty good vs Arkansas, Auburn and Washington. He has done admirably. Hope he can get the help needed and step it up so LSU can compete with the Floridas and Alabamas, and possibly win.

I think most LSU fans have come to realize Jefferson is not the future, Chris Garrett is

OK... well I was looking at point responsibility, not passing. But if you want to play the stats game:
2007 - Flynn led offense: 63 TD's and 26 FG's.
2009 - JJ led offense: 32 TD's and 16 FG's.

Depends on how quickly Garrett picks up the offense, whatever that may be this year. Will say if LSU has a new OC, the job may be up for grabs.
JJ has the tools to play. But, if LSU runs a true pro set offense next year Garrett could be the man.
Garrett may have the same troubles JJ does. If he has the same coaches, I would bet on it.

Who hasn't played a single snap in college yet.
Got anymore nuggets of wisdom?

The same was said about RS before the season but no one thought that was funny.

Glad to see so many people defending JJ. I don't know what all of the beef is for. The kid looks promising to me. I'm not saying he'll be a Colt McCoy, Bradford, or Stafford, but he can be a top SEC QB if he's coached properly and focuses. Hell, maybe he can be as good as some of the elites.
I don't know. We'll see.

When RS starts passing, we'll discuss this.

I don't have any beef with JJ just people like the doc that want to rank him ahead of people that he is not better than.

The future.. as in.. 2-3 years from now Jefferson didn't light it up early in the year.. but he definitely improved.
