my opinion is that it will have been coach miles best coaching job of his career. i also think he may have learned a lot of things this year. success is a journey (i'm an old guy and can say things like that ) and we never stop learning. things are not easy sometimes but what i admire the most about him is that there ain't no quit in him. when he tossed perilloux, the shite began. but, it was the right thing for his football team and it was the right thing for LSU. me, i see a lot of improvement over this season and i think JJ is going to be a great QB (and that makes a huge difference in a ball club). i've heard people say that before, but i honestly did not believe it until yesterday. JJ came to play and i will not forget his performance. i like this football team and i think we have the character to bust some sec arse the next coupla years WITH THESE GUYS!

they played gutsy football and Miles got them ready... I am feeling a bit better about Miles after the effort and game plan from Saturday.

We will see how he motivates and prepares the rest of the year...

If that were to happen, I would have to agree, bowl game not withstanding.

I've had my concerns regarding the long term future under Miles and frankly still do, but if he can pull off 10-2 and a strong finish after last year's debacle and yesterday's tough loss I'll have to tip my hat to the Hat.
