More importantly, Crompton didn't overachieve against Bama. His stats against Bama correlate with this stats for the season.

It's not like Crompton completed a higher percentage of passes against Bama than he usually does.

I'm not a big fan of comparing performances in just one game to prove a point. If you compare JJ & Crompton's performances against Georgia, Crompton outperforms him. If you compare them against Auburn, JJ does better. Just seems to go back and forth. Not to mention, Crompton is a senior and has alot more experience than Jefferson.

My biggest fear is Saban blitzing the snot out of Jefferson the whole game and get him rattled early. Unlike Auburn, I think Bama's secondary can cover our receivers better against the quick throws.

Hope I'm wrong.
