Tiger Stadium should be called RED SHIRT Valley

Cause we are burning up some red shirts.!!!!!!!!! 
Lee I understand, JJ somewhat, but I wished he was used earlier and now Shepard?? JJ is struggling, but he could improve. Now Shepard if he isn't going to be used then why didn't they Red Shirt him. I understand them playing him based on his High School play and obviously practice or he would of never been allowed to play! So has his play deteriorated like Lee's did last year? NO in fact his 1 play every defense knows what's coming gives him the highest ypc on the team! It's not that we trick them, it's that he's that elusive of a ball carrier. So I question the coaching staff! Do they not want to play the new guy over the Senior/sophomore JJ?? What am I not seeing? State your Case

It is confusing to say the least. Why burn the shirt if you don't intend to give them meaningful PT?

The point in burning redshirts on good talent is the fear they are going to leave for the nfl after their redshirt sophomore year. So the coaches want 3 years of playing time instead of 2

I just can't understand why freshmen can play at other schools and make an impact, but at LSU, it's always redshirt them, or have them play very sparingly, and use up the redshirt. WHY CAN'T FRESHMEN MAKE AN IMPACT AT LSU! This isn't just recently, this has been the case for many many years 99% of the time. Makes no sense.

well with saban he just didn't trust freshman too much and Les likes to give upperclassmen more playing time

The season is 1/2 over and Shep will get more touches progressively. JL did red-shirt so none was burned, and JJ did not trying to save the season last year and realizing that he was needed this year and experience was important. Your thread is not well founded.
