Only the delusional thought Saban would not do well at bama.

LSUs decline has nothing to do with bama or its coaches. It has everything to do with LSU and its coaches.

PERIOD.

I'm not ready to say LSU's decline; I'm more ready to say to Coach Miles - wake up and see the talent you're wasting on this team! Coach them up and LSU will be on top for years to come. Rely on talent alone and LSU will drop like yesterday's digested burrito.

i do not think anyone can make the case that Miles can keep up with Saban or Meyers. My problem is that I do not think he can even keep up with Petrino, Nutt, Kiffin or Richt Hope I am wrong.

LSUs decline

When your own top, there is nowhere to go but down. Even OU in the 40's, Nebraska, Miami and FSU of the 90's have a rough year here or there. Bama was way down and is riding an upswing. LSU is already at the top and much like anything in life, complacincy breeds contempt and out come the rantards and haters who hate their #9 ranked team with their one loss to the defending national champions.
I really wish some rantards on here would get some perspective of what it was like for us who were fans pre 2003.

The truth hurts, but the dude is a damn good coach. Ran Tubbs out in 2 years. Tubbs owned the state for at least 5 or 6 years.

Let's see how Nick does in 5 more years. Nick is very intense and will wear on the administration, the fan base, the alumni, and even the players. Nick is an awesome coach and is tremendous at building programs. He will wear it out in about 3-5 more years.
