Said that, do you think LSU is a top 10 football team right now ? Cause being realistic and not making excuses I DON'T, they just aren't there right now but up about billy ray someone was comparing LSU to Bama which is a terrible comparison cause BAMA appears to be worlds ahead of LSU

Again...excuses. I agree Bama appears to be ahead of LSU. But they shouldn't be. Every reason that LSU appears to be behind Bama or anyone else should be accounted for. The only possible excuse is the terrible Perriloux excuse, & JJ is playing well (certainly well enough to win). It's the other areas & overall scheme & play of the that is just inexcusable.

C'mon you can't really expect that to happen in the real world.

shite happens - look at Florida after their 1st NC (chris leak one). They had a bad season and you should have seen their message boards about their OCs, DCs, MCs and Hammers.

No one can control their own seasons leave alone explain why some other team is having a good season - Maryland HAD a good season with the Marshmallow Man as the coach - and Spurrier is in the tank now.

With all this talk about top 10 teams - while we can all agree that we are not playing well enough to take on the top 3 teams the way it is today - I have certainly not seen enough great play from the other teams to think that we don't have a shot at them.

Maybe the 2009 is not a good vintage for college football?
