No... Denham springs (backup at the time) qb was named wafb player of the week for his performance bs that secondary in the jamboree...

I know Reid got held out after he got banged up a bit early, but one guy can't make the secondary. And without him they were not very effective. Kid completed something like 85% of his throws

Don't know about best in the state but they are pretty good. Lots of speed. #22 Darville is an abosolute beast. If u go to a Dtown game watch him on defense and special teams. I just think his size may keep him from a big school but who knows.

All underclassmen except for Reid if I'm not mistaken. I don't know about best in the state, but they are solid. Held Landry to under 100 yrds. The real test is when they play H-ville. Best passing game they'll face by far.

Wasn't just Landry. Lutcher's other receivers, as well as their tight end, do not think Dutchtown's secondary is all that great.

Were they at the same game I was at? Landry had 7-90 1 TD. The rest had 10-56 yrds no TDs. As a team, avg. about 9 yrds a catch. Not to take anything away from Lutcher, but they didnt exactly go off offensively. The score was 20-14 in the 4th, until a fumble was returned for a TD. If they don't think Dtowns the best secondary they'll face, they better hope its not a 4A team or they won't win state like I thought they would.
