Damn understand a WIN IS A WIN no matter which way you flip it, toss it, or turn it..... I wish for once a lot of these LSU "fans" would think the same way through out the season, and not kick dirt at every close game, then talk about how bad the season is and then on top of that when they blowout a team you hear the famous quote "Now this is Lsu football"... The hell with that I wish for every negative comment on how lsu is slipping this year would be stuck in some of these guys heads that say it and so when they do get a "Proper" win it comes out taps them on the shoulder and slaps them right across the face.... Me blowing off steam may not make a whole lot of sense to you but made me feel a little better!!!!

I hear you, but our wins this season have not been too impressive. I realize that neither team (Washington or Vandy) is bad, but they aren't of LSU's caliber, and we didn't blow them out of the water like we should have. Our defense just isn't too encouraging--especially when we have Alabama and Florida, even Ole Miss in the future.

I would say our defense definetly improved from game 1 to game 2.

The offense did not get a great chance to open it up due to the weather. I think we will be just fine this season.

Agreed. I think we're getting accustomed to the DC's schemes. And I agree with your analysis about the offense playing conservatively b/c of rain. I hope you're right about the rest of the season. I do think the SEC games will be extremely challenging, however. Don't want to predict that we will lose, but I know I will be sweating bullets.

Heaven forbid someone objectively evaluate their team and hope for improvement. No team is perfect and at the end of the day winning is all that really matters, but damn if a team can frustrate me more than my Tigers. I think my frustration stems from what I feel is a very talented team underachieving and playing down to the level of their competition.

You said it very well. I am hopeful that the opposite is true and that we play up to the level of our SEC competition.

This would be awesome...and I really think they can. Would like to see the coaching staff coach up this talent and not hold it back (in terms of personnel usage and play calling). So damn conservative in both phases it wears me out.

Definitely agree with you 100% I'm the say way, but what i am referring to are all of the unwanted cry's like Chad Jones is overrated or we need to shite can Les Miles type comments... Probably wasn't the best wording

This would have been good to say back in the days when LSU did not have the talent or depth that it has today. Back then we would take anything knowing full well that we couldn't beat the best on a regular basis. Now we have the weapons to be among the best, but we are not playing up to our potential. Is this game plan? I hope that we haven't seen the best we can do or it is going to be a longer season for most of us.
