Was on encore, just watched it for about the 5th time, my all time favorite movie, and I usually can't stand movies like this, it's just perfect.

Not sure if the movie adaption wouldve worked without Anthony Hopkins.
It's such a sedate, "character study" of a movie, that it's hard to conceive a decent film version. Kudos to the director and Hopkins
