Anybody know our chances with this recruit? Seems like a pretty solid kid on and off the field.

Offensive Tackle, 4 Star, 6"5" 297 with a 3.7GPA.

He's only visited Notre Dame, he has offers from most of the top programs, if Kiffin loses this one which it looks like he might, I guess he's not recruiting Tennessee very hard.

I wouldn't put money on him but you never know, besides I think we are done at O-line this year

No more offensive lineman in this class unless Damien Robinson wants to come here. He would be the only guy on the offensive line whose commitment would be accepted.

Our oline is stacked and very young.

Stone plays for Nashville Maplewood which was in 4A state title game against Maryville which didn't lose a game for 5 years two years ago...Stone played against Dominque Allen and company and won in OT..the year before.. So NO,it wasn't exactly Evangelical or West Monroe he lined up against but it wasn't our Sisters of the Poor either.

Vanderbilt or Notre Dame - I don't think he pulls the trigger for Alabama.

If Vandy gets him it would be their first 4 star in quite a while.

We are done at OL unless a guy like Damien Robinson wants to come here.

I graduate from Hillsboro High School in Nashville. They always have a good football team. Eric Gordon who was a 4* played for them and is now a freshman at Tennessee.

You were saying Nashville area football was weak..Brentwood Academy is usually rated in the top 20 in the nation year in and year on..Stone plays against them..He is a good player.

First off I used to live in Nashville, the football is not good but not bad..

But who says that a good player cant come from a bad football area?

That makes no sense...never has...never will...

I think Stone wants to play tackle. But the truth is he will end up at Guard. At least if he stays in the SEC. It is what Bama told him. I think UT is telling him the same thing.

He also didn't perform well at camps earlier in the summer. May be a little overrated or could of just been out of shape some. I think he is talented enough to play in the SEC but I honestly think he ends up at Notre Dame. Kid is super smart and academics are a big deal to him.

He is being recruited hard by UT but they where late on him.

Nobody did. But you cant tell how good a player really is if the competition sucks.
