A friend and I were arguing which year during the florida state series did it pour during the game at LSU? I said 1991 because I was there. But he swears it was 1989. He said 89 because he played for LSU and he knows the history.

89 may have been the year we played Miami, Fl at home on espn and it rained cats and dogs and we got our arse whipped.

1991 sounds right for the FSU game. Your buddy may be thinking of the Miami game in 1988 or so.

I think 88 was the Miami game. Michael Irvin was playing back then.
