DeMarco Cobbs of Tulsa has named his 6 finalists. In no particular order, as listed in the paper, Bama, Tenn., Ga., Fla, OU and LSU.
I find it interesting that 5 of 6 are SEC schools. I also think that to be in LSU's favor as he has repeatedly said LSU has always been one of his two favorite schools. The other, Auburn, has been eliminated along with AZ, USC and Texas.
This from today's Daily Oklahoman.

Did not have a great showing at the RSC. Ran a 4.76 and dropped a lot of balls.

Seems to be a good athlete and might have just had a bad day.

If Cobbs is that shitty and ranked the #1 prospect in Oklahoma this year, then what does it say about the rest of the guys here?

Cobbs subtracted USC and Texas, two schools previously in the mix for his signature. "Both (USC and Texas) are good schools, but I'm just not really feeling them right now."

Cobbs likes LSU's young starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson, he's drawn to the pro experience on Tennessee's staff, likes that Florida competes for national titles, is attracted to the way Georgia uses its receivers and would enjoy the chance to line up next to Julio Jones at Alabama.

Additional programs such as Auburn, Arizona and Florida State were also in the picture for Cobbs at one point or another during the process.
