We scored 6 runs, it's a pretty average number of runs, then we ran into some pretty good pitching the last few innings. It's very explainable.

Yeah, that Rugg kid was lights out for SLU. Exploding splitter that kept the LSU hitters of-balance the whole time he was in.

Well Kentucky had the best 3 starting pitchers ever, so we couldn't score alot of runs. Then Nicholls threw 8 guys in 9 innings, so we couldn't get our timing. Then Tennessee had a lefty throwing 90 mph on Sunday, so that's hard to hit. Now SLU has a reliever that was simply lights out, so you can't really expect to score runs there.

When does it end??

Before I get labeled as a negatiger, I'm just pointing out that this team is not playing up to its capabilities. I am not saying that this team has no chance to win. I'm just of the belief that this team should have winning the SEC as a goal, and dropping 2 out of 3 to Tennessee was a big setback. The cheerleaders can say that winning 2 out of 3 every weekend is great, but we beat UGA 2 out of 3, and yet they are 2 games ahead of us. We beat Ole Miss 2 out of 3 and they are tied with us. Other teams are getting sweeps, and this team is not.
