I'm actually with you on that, but the difference is that a strong safety is going to be better at run defense and a free safety is likely to be better at coverage. So speed and strength are a factor in determining which players play where. I'm assuming you probably knew this already, but I agree that a good football player could play either one.

Now this is a post that I can agree with. All the BS about a guy being shoed into one position & not another is someone trying to sound like they actually know something everyone lese doesn't. That being said, a guy like Paulomalu can play wherever he wants & be an asskicker.
