It seemed he had a lot of improvement in the latter part of last year. Do ya'll think next season will still be Scott being the workhorse, or will KW get some more touches?

I dont see any reason why Scott wont be the main man next season, but I would think Les would give KW more touches than he did last season. I mean, I would, esp with them both being seniors and being big contributors the past 2 years, I think they should be playing a little more of an even amount this year. Help them get drafted maybe?

for the 3rd year in a row Les will prove you wrong. Unless you run like a fullback, Les will not give you more than 5 carries

he gave vincent a lot of carries his senior year, and he was far less deserving than williams is, scott will probably be the guy but i bet keiland's carries almost double this year

Kei-train should be the man.

Im ok as long as we win though.

However, I dislike those games last season where Scott was ineffective and Keiland was effective, and miles stuck with Scott. Use the effective RB please.

to be honest Williams looked a little slow last year to me he had to be hurt he was slow to the hole he didn't have the speed to break chunks of runs off but he did look good in the bowl though.

and that goes for when the best back is having a shitty day like when Scott sucked the last 3-4 games of the year or when Hester was garbage against UK, right?

I sure hope KW gets more consistent carries for a couple of reasons.

He can break the long ones. Scott doesn't do that against SEC defenses really. He just doesn't have that last gear to make a run into the secondary turn into a race to the endzone.

Also KW needs to get some touches to save scott's legs. he was dead after the bama game and just had nothing left. If KW is getting 10 carries a game and Scott is getting the other 15+ I think we'll see better overall production out of the running backs than last year, and they were great last year for the most part.

I think whoever has the hot hand will get the touches.
While I like KW better, Scott was the better RB this year hands down.

what makes you think so? Les has never used this in games despite preaching it constantly.

He used it last year....hence Charles Scott was the featured back.

the "hot hand" would suggest that after bama when Scott was worn the frick out and KW was running as well as he had since the beginning of 07 he should have been getting a lot more carries.

But les picks a work horse and just runs him to death and each other back has 3-5 specially designed plays they're gonna run at some point in the game.

I said Les goes with the RB with the hot hand. I never said he doesnt stop using him when he cools off.
I would have liked to see Ridley get more carries at the end of the season and KW more for sure.

Our line sucked, not Scott IMO. A back like him will never do shite when the line can't block. Keiland is the better option in that scenario.

i think williams should have been getting a lot more carries the last few games of the year cause i thought he was playing better than scott. in scotts defense he had a sprain and thats even more reason for williams to have played. but anyways thats a lot of coulda, shoulda and i think theyll be a great one two punch next year
