I think that three teams are clearly at the top with Arkansas right behind and MSU and AU near the bottom.
But going into the preseason, Ole Miss has to be given the nod as preseason favorites. Doesn't mean I think they'll finish there but it does mean that they return most of their defense and have a proven quarterback returning. As much as I love the progress of JJ, you still have to give OM the nod over us IMO. Alabama's defense is going to be very good but they lose everything but Julio on offense.
Both teams have ridiculously easy SEC slates. I think LSU has the most weapons on offense, but the most questions on defense. The addition of an experienced DC in Chavis has me really excited, as well as his propensity to develop LB's, which I think has been the weakest part of our team for the last five years. LSU has easily the toughest schedule in the west.
All three are capable. Preseason wise, you have to give the nod to Ole Miss though IMO.
