Marshall Faulk to be the next coach at Southern

Just saw it on ESPN. Always liked him as a player & thought he’d be a coach some day. Good luck to a successful LA native coming home to coach!

Faulk had an interesting comment in which he said, “If it wasn’t for Coach Prime, I would not even try this.” Given that Southern has fired its last few coaches, and it has a history of success under AW Mumford and Pete Richardson, it needed to hire someone with more experience. It could work, and congrats to AD Roman Banks if it does, but it could just as easily fail spectacularly.
