That's awfully optimistic considering the year that Lee had. He singlehandedly gave away two games, imo. As far as experience, Jefferson would have a lot more now if the coaches had given him a chance sooner, when Lee was totally shitting the bed. That's my biggest complaint about last year. Above the DC debacle, even.

do you think if Les Miles and Gary Crowton thought that JJ wouldnt have "shite the bed" any worse than JL did that they wouldnt have let him play earlier?

What exactly did you expect from JL last Aug?
Plainly stated, the guy played like a freshman.
FWIW, our Defense was a FAR bigger dissapointment last season than JL ever was.

I suppose Kurt Warner single-handedly gave away the Super Bowl with the pick-6 he threw. And it went for 100 yds. no less!
