Title says it all. I’m hunting an area with mature Cottonwoods and most of the trees I want to be in are too big to put my climbing sticks around. I’m using a muddy stand and stick with the climbing rope and ratchet strap. Any recommendations on extenders for both? TIA

Where I hunt near the river here in Missouri I’ve run into that. I have used long ratchet straps instead of the shorter straps that come with the steps when I encounter this.

Go to Harbor Freight and get a longer set of ratchet straps.
Other than that, I’m not sure where the problem is.

The ropes for the sticks. I suppose I could up that single 20’ climbing stick. I’m thinking it has a long strap

20’ climbing stick.

So glad I am at the age where climbing no longer interests me. Just me and my ground blind these days lol

Longer ratchet straps? They make them because I have a few and they’re a pain in the butt most of the time.
