How do we run the ball?

Power I? Reverses? Quick screens? It's 100% bs to have a defense drop 8 and not be able to move the ball. Sloan has to be better at play calling and Nuss has to see that he has multiple opportunities to step up in the pocket, tuck the ball and scramble for 7 or 8 yards.

Put in MVB. He then gives us 3 options: Pass, QB scramble on Pass Plays, or RB run. As of now, our play call is predictable. They know when we will pass most times, and when we will run. They stack the box on predicted run plays, and 3 downlineman on pass plays. They can predict over 50% accuracy our next move. With MVB, they have 33% chance to predict right. Imo, it opens up the offense a ton.
I'd rather try MVB out, it go poorly, then switch back to Nuss, rather than not try at all, and continue to score 13 to 19 points against SEC teams. Florida game he had 13 points.
Nuss has proven over and over again that we are a 17 point offense with him playing in 2025. Absolutely have to switch this up for any remote shot at the CFP. There is literally no other path than giving MVB a chance.

Just go under center tell the line to put their hand in the dirt and lean forward because a fight is about to occur for the next 3-4 yards

You start by giving your 5 star top back in the nation Berry 25-30 carries a game and not waiting to the 4th qtr to use him. I also hate how Wilson utilizes rb’s . One series for one rb, and then next series another. If you want to use 2 rb’s the same series to allow Berry a breather then fine, but Berry is your best and he needs at least 25 touches

Giving a 180 pound freshman RB 25-30 carries a game is insanity. Durham is the best back on the team still

Just go under center
Disagree with this because every single damn OC and Head Coach in football knows that we have absolutely 0 passing plays under center. They all know if we go under center, that its 110% a run. They'll then stack 8 in the box on an audible.
The solution is MVB. He opens up so much. Good passing and scrambling game has Defenses on their feet, confused. You then have more holes to run on the line when they're playing the edges to contain MVB, and LBs dropped further back because we'd actually pass accurately downfield.
Nuss is by far the biggest limiting factor on this offense because he can't scramble, and can't throw passes over 8 yards in the air.

The best player on the team is the backup qb. There's a reason he's the backup.

Be willing to run the ball. There’s a lack of urgency to run it, pure and simple. You can’t run the ball if you don’t even try, and it has to be about more than just situations.
