Why do our stellar politicians need a recess? Is their job so hard they need an extended recess to cope?

Twenty Republicans opted for an expense free trip to Israel instead of heading home to their constituents. Perhaps Netanyahu is showing them what they buy with the billions we give them every year.

They used to go back home and listen to their constituents. It was a part time gig because the majority of them were professionals or farmers. Now they are career politicians so they circle jerk each other off in DC, get wined and dined by lobbyists or suck off foreign countries for bribes.
