cause Saban, better or worse than Nutt and others, just obscures the view of LSU fans because he left us and is pubilc enemy #1 to most.

I don't have a problem with Bama or Saban but ole miss is a real problem to worry about Bama doesn't have a experinced quarterback yet

when one of the best coaches and recruiters in the nation, coaches for a school in your division, and knows your backyard (a good one, and one which you usually cherry pick)...its something to take notice of, and try to fend off

As far as recruiting goes. Saban has a higher probability of taking a LA kid that LSU wants than Kiffin, Nutt, Petrino or Cheez.
Orgeron never did it while at Ole Miss and I dont think him and Kiffin can it do being that far away.
Nutt sucks at recruiting. Sucked while at Ark too. Hell he couldn't even land his own instate kids, much less ours.
Pertino...meh...if ark can ever get LA kids that LSU wants, no matter the coach, LSU must be on probation or something.
Auburn and Cheez....see Petrino/ARK- not happening.
None of those guys recruit as hard as saban. Plus bama is a program rich in history that is on the incline, and that is a big selling point(none of those programs have that). Saban has a rockstar status with the media and is glorified moreso than any of the previous coaches. He has contacs in LA. BUT, he has yet to get a kid LSU was really pursuing, and if he hasnt done it yet, I dont see any of those clowns being able to breach the fence LSU has around LA.
