Looking for recs, My ex father in law was a painter, but is no longer with us.
Exterior, painting the brick. Already been painted so not many other options.(wife doesnt want us to tackle it) It is bad.
Siding is 35 years old unsure if I want to have it painted(will prolly look like shite) Replaced or let it roll as is. Facia and wood underneath still looks good.
Woodwork I can take care of myself, I need to rip and replace all the wood at front door and a bit around back(results of having no gutters)
Hopefully the last paint job in my lifetime.

Considering it has been 30 years since last paint job, yeah I hope to be gone when it is time again :)

got a few quotes from 360 painting, the paint guys and spell painting all off of BBB site.
2 were within 100 dollars of each other the other was 1k more and offered less.
Will probably go with 360 he worked hard for the bid, and offered the most.
just under 7k for 2 coats on the brick, painting 7 exterior doors, wood carport and patio and some wood repair. I expected 10K plus but I havent been in the industry in decades.
house is not big 1700sf under roof and an attached 750 sf MIL Apt.

Report back after the job is done with a review, please. Will be saving that name for a future job if solid work.
