Bad Sequencers Inside AC unit

Earlier today, the sequencers on my inside AC unit went kaput. This is the second set I’ve changed in less than 6 months. Anyone have insight on what could be causing this? 9-10 year old unit. South La. We set it on 73 when we leave and have it set on 69 at night for bed.

Take it to an electronics tech who works on circuit boards all day everyday and he can tell you exactly what is wrong. Let an AC tech look at it and you’re screwed.

I thought sequencers were on the heating side of the unit.

I assume he meant controller. Akin to an ice box or a clicker.

“Sequencers” was the term the service tech gave me. I had to change them the day before the snow storm and then again yesterday. He also mentioned quite a bit of condensation in/around the unit. I’ve utilized the same company for install and all maintenance and have never had issues until recently.

Ya so sequencer means main controller in the same way a doctor would say djxuvyduhrth carcinoma instead of ball cancer. He is going to throw parts at it the same way an auto tech would.
Take board to an electronics tech and find out what actually failed and how to fix it. This isn’t hard, you just have to bypass the people that think it is. It’ll likely come down to a single contractor where you would want to replace the wires and the contractor for that circuit but not throw darts at the entire system.
