Biggest take-away, man spent 9 years in Prison before any conviction. I guess Canada doesn't believe like the US in a Fair and Speedy Trial.

Yah he did it. At least he did 11 years in prison for killing a person I guess that’s something.

Probably, but we don't convict people on hearsay or opinion of bad character. That was the only prosecution evidence to counter his accident story.
"It doesn't make sense" they kept saying.
Regardless, my take away is you can do a Decade in Prison in Canada without a conviction.
It's one of the flimsiest cases I've seen in true crime documentaries.
