So jackplate is leaking - again. Is there any problem running the boat with a leaky jackplate if I'm not intending to use it and the motor is at the right height?

I see no problem, other than some hydraulic fluid getting in the water.

Wouldn't be a problem on any jackplate I ever knew of....outside of some oil in the water it won't cause any safety or performance issues - it will perform like it would with a jack plate.
