MRI for dogs...

Our 9 year old Daschaund is having paralysis spells. Her left front paw seems to be affected the most as it drags. Vet has suggested a MRI to see what the issue is. We are going to do an X-Ray first before we consider the MRI.
Anyone else done the MRI for a dog?

We just had our 12 year old dachshund experience this in both hind legs. Could not walk. Our vet recommended acupuncture. 2 weeks later he is at 95%. Amazing recovery.
