Considering going to the LSU vs Oklahoma game next year in Norman, OK. Traveling from Lafayette. Me, wife, 10 yr old boy, 6 yr old girl.

Would you spend 3 days (which includes Thanksgiving) in Broken Bow, Dallas/Fort Worth or Oklahoma City?

Is the clear answer Broken Bow? Convince me otherwise.

Dallas has better accommodations, but Broken Bow would be more festive.

Broken Bow as long as you don't plan on leaving from there, going to the game, and then driving back to sleep in Broken Bow. That would be 6+ hours of driving. If you are planning for the spot to be your home base, then I would chose OKC.

There is a lot in Dallas/Ft. Worth, but it is extremely spread out. But if you do decide to go there then take the kids to the National Video Game Museum in Frisco. They also have the discovery center there in the same building. You can easily kill a whole day there.
