Maybe that's why they called me. I left $.50 in that account just to keep it open when I changed banks. She called me at like 8:20 this morning and told me that I'd just had a large deposit into my account.

I would consider that legit. Hard to imagine a bank employee of a bank one knows would be involved in a scam.....especially if the check is drawn on the bank. If it is not I would be hesitant to deposit in my account. Thats unlikely. The scammer would have had to somehow present it to the bank...if they are that slick there would better ways to scam folks most likely.
