This. I was in Alaska last summer, and booked a fly fishing trip. I didn't have the ability to bring my gear along on the trip, so I used the stuff the guides supplied.
I swear, they had me chunking 1/2 ounce Clousers with trailer hooks on a 7 wt. rod with 5 wt. line, and a 5 foot straight leader.
Absolute trash gear, that wore my arse out casting it all day long. No fish, either. One guy with us found a washtub sized hole filled with Dolly Varden and wouldn't let anyone else in after he had already caught a few.
