Cost and spend are two totally different things.

It's not easy for anyone to reduce the comfort level they're accustomed to. People aren't willing to raise children with less than they had or to reduce their own accustomed comforts. Nobody wants to take a step back simply for procreation. Like I said earlier, I think it's short-sighted but it's definitely a problem.

The idea is to not set it that high in the first place.

It absolutely sucks to reduce your comfort level but you must adjust your spending with the economy, this is basic.

I get tired of hearing people complaining about money but see them having new stuff all the time. Going on vacation is not a necessity every single year. Mardi gras balls are not a necessity.

Also, if you drink alcohol or partake in any recreational partying Id also like to point out that is 100% wasted money yet 85% are involved.

I dont buy the whole cost is rising is the reason I have no money argument. People need to step up and take responsibility for their spending and teach their kids to do better.
