agree.
hand-me downs, and used are the way to go.
Wife gets a ton from Poshmark and the 2nd hands childs store.
We get some nice new clothes on occassion but most of their school stuff either gets destroyed quickly or they grow out of it so buy cheap.

Kids are expensive, no getting around it.
Mine are still young and between child care and saving for college, it's brutal.
We are fortunate to be able to afford it but I don't know how some people make it.

And don't get me started on the parties...
