It wasn't about people's inability to handle the truth, it was the opposite.
There's no profit in the truth. The truth doesn't justify all the mandates and suspension of rights.

The truth was four in ten thousand people were in danger from the virus if they had other serious medical conditions, the rest of us are going to get sick but will be fine.
