Because everyone in positions of political power weren’t fully on board with the Globalist agenda yet in the 60’s. It sent a message back then to get with the program or else . Our entire political system is a captured operation and tool of Globalist interests now. Everyone is on board with the charade. Including Trump. It’s all theater.
