The only reason he demanded she get out of the car is because she repeatedly said she wanted to know why she was pulled over before providing ID.

Sure. The law doesn't demand he tell. But why in the frick are police so intransigent about telling? What benefit to the situation comes from this? Yet, clearly, they ARE trained not to tell.

So, bottom line. Police seem to sincerely beleive that not telling you why you were pulled over until they see ID is a solid support for getting violent and escalating.

AND THAT IS WHAT IS frickING WRONG WITH POLICING TODAY!

Yes it does. He has to have reasonable articuable suspicion to make a stop.
