Supporting Ukraine is the smart play.
Maybe, maybe not. I'm gonna go with only more death and destruction.
6 months from now that 60 billion will be just a faint memory.

Death and destruction in Ukraine and Russia? That's your worry?
All the while, our play in Ukraine will directly dictate future aggression to Taiwon?
Ukraine is a human shield. And that is a role that they are presently/actively pursuing. Which is good for us.
It is infinitely less expensive to help defend Ukraine than to militarize all of Ukraine's borders as a future defense strategy. There is absolutely zero benefit to the world with a Russian occupation of Kiev.
Plus... if we can help Ukraine hold out for the next election, we can provide an opportunity for Trump to be the arbiter for a peace deal.

I agree.
The Ukraine spending is a drop in the bucket for our budget.
If you are against spending on Ukraine, I haven't heard your outrage to leadership (i.e. literally removing politicians who status quo the budget) for the rest of the budget.
So you don't really give a shite about Ukraine spending. It is just the next twitter hot political button (until the next one takes its place 6 months from now). Outrage is an internet fad.
