An ASAP stating “I didn’t know on charter flights we couldn’t do this and since one qualified crewmember was in the seat, we didn’t think we violated any FARs/SOPs.”
Just based on the video, I think the FO will definitely keep his job since he never left his duty position. CA is probably 75% keeping his job, imo.
