So let me try to understand this like a 5 year old. They are saying the last time this supposedly happened was 1.6 billion years ago. How in the hell do they know this?
Trust your initial inclination and gut. They don't know. Can't know. It's impossible. Along with absurd claims and ridiculous timelines.
Science is using its previous incantation as a "respected authority" by taking its usual stab at the "Power of Suggestion". The only way un-provable / unproven "Science news" like this (theory / wish-casting) can be believed at face value is through Mental Alchemy.
Mental Alchemy requires oft-repeated claims via steady indoctrination and mind control of "authoritahs". With some, this technique hardens into Official Dogma. All authoritahs advance the impossible-to-prove suppositions via REPETITION -- working exactly like all Spells.
