Cops interview witnesses as they walk around doing other shite. After a misdirection toward an innocent person they grab the suspect at his home/place of work/walking down the street. Contentious meeting in Rikers conference room between defendant, his lawyer, and one or more DAs. Cut to courtroom where there's an unexpected twist, followed by an impassioned summation. Verdict: guilty except when they throw you a curveball and there's an acquittal. Cut to dimly lit office where one or more DAs philosophize over the case and how it relates to society as a whole. Roll credits.
