re: Kidney Failure, unknown cause. Dialysis in future.

My dad is in the ICU intubated right now, he’s been on dialysis for over 2 years. He’s in the ICU because he collapsed at home and couldn’t breathe. They think he has aspirated pneumonia.

I can tell you he hated dialysis, he got set up to do it at home which has been terrible for him. Go to a clinic and do it, don’t do it at home. He’s constantly in and out of the hospital because of fluid building up in his lungs from him either procrastinating dialysis bc he hates or it bc they keep getting his dry weight wrong. His machine doesn’t work right half the time, I’m constantly over there helping swap parts out on it & they’re constantly calling the 1800 number trying to get the damn thing to work
