Don't remember how old they were, but our two sons came to us after school one day (maybe KG and second grade) and told us, "We know there is no Santa Claus." I told them, "All I have to say about that is Santa never brings any toys to kids who do not believe in him."
They immediately began talking a hundred miles an hour, "NO - We didn't say we didn't believe!"
Because of this, they survived the Santa lie one more year.
