Been shooting a browning Maxus for the last 10 years. Dove duck and clays. Eats everything I put in it. Probably go with an a5 next time bc I like the sight line better but the maxus has been a great field gun. Has been abused. Dropped in swamps. Used as a boat paddle. Thousands of rounds through it. Can’t go wrong.

My Maxus (gen 1) has been bullet proof, just can't shoot 7/8 dove load in the 3.5" or won't cycle. You can get a new Beretta A300 for around 1000. Just don't think any of the "three B's" have any semi autos under a 1000 anymore.
