Anesthesia and it's not even close. Sit in a chair in the air condition all day and get paid bank to do it. Job security and demand is guaranteed as people will always need surgeries. Plus, you can do it anywhere in the world and aren't tied to one desk job at some company with a boss that you hate.

Have a friend who is a Nurse Anesthetist and makes ~$200k. He doesn't have the liability concerns the Anesthesiologist has and loves his job. Not sure this field is for everyone though, but if you're medically inclined, I think you're right about this field.
Otherwise, I agree with many posters, trades are the way to go unless someone is very interested in being in a profession you absolutely have to get a degree in. College is a blast though and it shows an employer you're able to complete tasks, be responsible, and they can count on you. I got a BFA degree that has nothing to do with what I'm doing now (shocker), but it led me to many connections I still have today and is what helped me become very successful/happy.
