I saw something about Ep 5 getting nominated for something. I assumed it was an Emmy, but I don't know when those official nominations are made/announced. Scrolled past it without paying much attention.

I watched the original show growing up but don’t remember a whole lot and don’t really care to rewatch the whole thing.
Is this season a parallel timeline to the original? They don’t seem to remember Cable, mastermold and nimrod, and apocalypse. Are we to assume that since Genosha is a fixed point that every time Cable or the X-men win in the future so it’s recorrected and the past is erased in some ways meaning the previous X-men show isn’t canon?
As Deadpool would say “these timelines are so confusing”
