This is not the case for long. High School seniors now were kind of on the front side of large scale travel ball in La. Yes it did exist, but not like it has become. So you had a bunch of guys that were on teams just a few years ago with no travel in their back ground.

In my sons brief HS career I see the travel kids seperating themselves by playing the game better. There are players that can hit, throw and field...but when the game starts the ones that have competed at a high level seem to be seperating themselves.
