Most likely your understanding of history is basically zero. In your opinion why did the US intervene in Vietnam? If you can give a cogent answer I will be shocked

Well let’s see, shall we, since I have a history minor from a land grant university. We were in country technically in ‘64, but truthfully they had been there with the French since ‘58, with “advisors”, SF & CIA. Same could be said of Cambodia & Laos and all SE Asia. We had a heavy footprint post WWII spearheaded out of the Philippines and we had no intentions of losing all that natural resources and land. Communism was the convenient boogeyman in the room.
