I consider Conde a suburb of the Woodlands. A suburb of a suburb basically. Feels closer to south Dallas than Houston.

This is ridiculous. You must be confusing Willis or Huntsville with Conroe. Conroe is 20 min from the Harris County line, I drive it frequently from Spring.
